At a meeting of India's G-20 ministers on digital economy, Vaishnav said it is a very important achievement that global societies have come to a consensus on adopting digital public infrastructure.

Union Minister of Railways, Communications, Electronics and Information Technology Ashwani Vaishnav has made it clear in the G-20 Ministers meeting on Digital Economy that cyber fraud activities are now being controlled. Three days back we have introduced two more reforms under which every dealer will be verified. Our focus is firmly on ensuring that cyber frauds and other fraudulent activities are controlled.

At a meeting of India's G-20 ministers on digital economy, Vaishnav said it is a very important achievement that global societies have come to a consensus on adopting digital public infrastructure. There was a general consensus that countries in the Global South as well as other countries globally should adopt the DPI framework to digitize their economies. The three major priority areas for the G-20 meeting were DPI, cyber security and skills. In all three of these areas, we found a good consensus and an outcome document was adopted at the full G20 Ministers' meeting today.
