USA: Indian-origin man shoots girlfriend in parking lot, arrested for murder

An Indian-origin Sikh man has been arrested by the police in California, USA. It is alleged that a man of Indian origin has shot dead his girlfriend. At present the police is investigating the matter. According to reports, Simranjit Singh, 29, shot and killed his 34-year-old girlfriend in the parking lot of a mall in Roseville, California.

According to Roseville police, the two had come to the mall together on Saturday morning. During this there was a fight between the two. Police say the accused shot dead his girlfriend in the parking lot on the third floor of the mall and fled the scene. The accused also left his gun in the parking lot. After getting the information of the incident, the police reached the spot and started searching for the accused.

The police arrested the accused Simranjit Singh from a store located near the mall. Police said that after the murder, the accused went to a nearby store, where he bought a new shirt and put the old shirt in a bag and wore the new shirt. When the accused was preparing to leave, the police caught him. Police is taking statements of witnesses and also examining surveillance cameras. Security cameras are also installed at the place where the murder took place, which is being investigated by the police.
