Even though the program of world leaders coming to India to attend the G-20 summit has started from Thursday, the heads of most of the countries will reach India today i.e. on September 8. These include US President Joe Biden, UK PM Rishi Sunak, Japan's PM Kishida Fumio, Australia's PM Anthony Albanese. Russia's Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, China's PM Li Qiang, Brazil's President Luiz Inacio Lula da Silva etc. Along with these leaders, heads of states of many other countries including Canada, UAE, Turkey will also reach Delhi today.

As the national capital is regally decked up to welcome foreign delegates for the G-20 summit, the Center has assigned responsibilities to various Union ministers of state to receive the dignitaries. Sources told ANI that a presentation was made by the Foreign Secretary to the Council of Ministers and Ministers of State.

US President Joe Biden will be welcomed by Minister of State VK Singh on September 8 at 6.55 pm (temporary time), while UK Prime Minister Rishi Sunak will be welcomed by Minister of State Ashwini Choubey at 1.40 pm.
According to sources, Bangladesh Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina will be received by Minister of State Darshana Zardosh at 12.30 pm, while Minister of State Choubey will receive Japanese Prime Minister Fumio Kishida at 2.15 pm. Sources said Italian Prime Minister Georgia Meloni will be received by Minister of State Shobha Karadlaje at 6.20 am.
Chinese Premier Li Qiang will be received by Minister of State Gen (Retd) VK Singh at 7.45 pm while UAE President HH Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan will be received by Minister of State for Home Nityanand Rai.
Australian Prime Minister Anthony Albanese will arrive at 6.15 pm and will be welcomed by Union Minister of State Rajiv Chandrashekhar. The heads of state of Germany and France will reach here on September 9. German Chancellor Olaf Scholz will arrive at 8 am and will be received by Minister of State Bhanu Pratap Singh Verma. French President Emmanuel Macron will arrive at 12.35 pm and will be received by Minister of State Anupriya Patel.
Three-hour concert at the President's dinner
A deep glimpse of Indian culture will be seen at the dinner hosted by the President of India on September 9 for the distinguished guests from all over the world attending the G-20 Summit. It will be one of its kind instrumental concert.
Bharat-Vadya-Darshanam will be a combination of various musical styles prevalent in the country which is being organized by the Sangeet Natak Akademi under the Ministry of Culture. 78 instrumentalists from across the country will perform together for three hours during the dinner organized by the President in the honor of G-20 leaders at the India Pavilion.
What makes this concert different is that it includes 34 Hindustani instruments, 18 Carnatic instruments and 40 folk instruments from Indian states. A total of 78 artists will be included in it, including 11 children, 13 women, 7 disabled artists and 21 elderly artists.
Countries participating in the G20 summit include Nigeria, Argentina, Italy, AU (represented by Comoros), Bangladesh, United Kingdom, Japan, Saudi Arabia, Republic of Korea, Egypt, Australia, United States of America, Canada, China, United Arab Emirates Emirates, Brazil, Indonesia, Turkey Spain, Germany, France, Mauritius, European Union and Singapore and South Africa.
