Jammu and Kashmir: Suspected IED recovered on Srinagar-Baramulla highway, traffic stopped, destroyed

Security forces have recovered suspected IED on Srinagar Baramulla National Highway. At present the IED has been destroyed.

According to the information, on Monday morning, security forces received information about a suspected IED at Hanjiveera Pattan on the Srinagar-Baramulla National Highway. After receiving the information, Jammu and Kashmir Police, Army and BDS reached the spot.

First of all the security forces stopped the traffic on the highway. After this the suspected IED was investigated. After investigation it was deactivated. Security forces have launched a search operation in the area.
