Mamata Banerjee accused the central government of politics of revenge.

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has reshuffled the cabinet. He has changed the department of Babul Supriyo. Babul has been removed from the Tourism Department and given the responsibility of IT and Renewable Energy Department. Indranil Sen, another singer-politician and Minister of State for Technical Education, Training and Skill Development, has been given independent charge of the Tourism Department. Forest Minister Jyotipriya Mallik has been given additional charge of Public Enterprises and Industrial Reconstruction Department. Mamata Banerjee made this reshuffle on the eve of leaving on a trip to Dubai and Spain.

Earlier, Mamata Banerjee accused the central government of politics of revenge. He said that if permission is given to protest at Rajghat on the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, his party people will offer prayers at Rajghat. Mamata said that the Center should release the outstanding MNREGA amount of Bengal, it has to be given to the extremely poor people.

He also condemned the summons sent by the Enforcement Directorate to nephew and TMC leader Abhishek Banerjee, calling it an attempt to intimidate a young leader. On her foreign trip, Mamta said that I am going abroad after 5 years. Earlier no permission was given to travel abroad even though I had many invitations. He also said that the arrest of former Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister Chandrababu Naidu in a corruption case also appears to be motivated by vendetta politics.

Abhishek will appear before ED on September 13

Abhishek Banerjee said on Monday that he will appear before the ED on September 13 on the summons of the central agency. He was given a notice by the Central Investigation Agency to appear for questioning on September 13.
