Tamil Nadu: Sonia Gandhi reached Chennai with Priyanka, will attend DMK's women's rights conference

Tamil Nadu will be headed by CM Stalin to put pressure on the Central Government to immediately implement women's reservation.
Congress Parliamentary Party President Sonia Gandhi and Congress General Secretary Priyanka Gandhi have reached Chennai. Here she will attend the DMK Women's Rights Conference. Tamil Nadu Chief Minister MK Stalin reached the airport to welcome Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi. Apart from the CM, DMK MPs Kanimozhi Karunanidhi and TR Baalu were also present at the airport.
Accused of putting pressure on the center
Tamil Nadu will be headed by CM Stalin to put pressure on the Central Government to immediately implement women's reservation. DMK deputy general secretary K Kanimozhi has invited prominent women leaders of India to participate in the conference. CM himself reached Nandanam YMCA grounds, the venue of the conference, to take stock of the preparations for the conference. Apart from Sonia Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, many women leaders of parties included in the opposition alliance India, including former Jammu and Kashmir Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, have also reached Chennai for the Tamil Nadu government program.
