AICTE: Last date extended for admission in technical colleges, action taken after Supreme Court order

 Now you can take admission in technical colleges across the country till 30th October. If there are vacant seats available in any technical college or university then the student will easily get admission. All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE) has extended the admission date.

A letter has been written to all the recognized technical colleges in this regard on behalf of Professor Rajeev Kumar, Member Secretary, AICTE. It is clearly written in it that now the last date for admission will be 30th October. AICTE has also released the revised Academic Calendar 2023 regarding the change in the admission last date.

This change will be implemented from the academic session 2023-24. The revised calendar has also been uploaded on the official website of AICTE, aicte-india.org. AICTE has revised the academic calendar 2023-24 following an order of the Supreme Court dated 13 October 2023. Accordingly, the last date for admission to affiliation by all AICTE approved institutions and universities has been extended to October 30, 2023.

However, the last date for granting approval to institutions offering ODL/online courses and the last date for admission to courses in open and distance learning/online learning mode (1st and 2nd session) will be as per UGC policy.
