There will be a high-level investigation into the irregularities in the unrecognized Madrasas and minority scholarships in UP. The state government has taken a strict stand in this regard and necessary instructions have been given to the concerned officials.

Thousands of madrassas are running in the state without any valid recognition. SIT is also investigating the foreign funds received by madrassas. Recently, 14 thousand students who applied for Central Minority Scholarship and fee reimbursement were found to be fake.

Minority Welfare Minister Dharampal Singh said that we are serious about these matters. It has been decided to conduct a high level investigation. Be it a central scholarship scheme or a state government scheme, we are committed to maintaining transparency in it. There will be strict investigation in every district, instructions have been given to take strict action against whoever is found guilty.
