Shaktikanta Das: 'India is ready to become a fast growing major economy', RBI Governor said this on GDP

RBI Governor said geopolitical uncertainty is the biggest risk to global growth.
Reserve Bank Governor Shaktikanta Das has said that the central bank is closely monitoring the situation of banks. Speaking at an event, the Governor of the Reserve Bank of India has said that while the growth momentum remains strong, the second quarter GDP figures will surprise everyone.
The RBI Governor said that geopolitical uncertainty is the biggest risk to global growth. He said, "India is in a better position to deal with potentially risky situations."
Reserve Bank of India (RBI) Governor Shaktikanta Das said during an event that India is set to become the fastest growing major economy and our aim is to contribute up to 18 percent to global growth by 2028.
