A new revelation has come to light in the case of snake venom being used for intoxication in a rave party. Poison glands were found missing in all the nine snakes recovered from here. In this case, YouTuber and winner of reality show Bigg Boss OTT, Elvish Yadav, was interrogated at night.
According to Dr. Nikhil Varshney, head of the investigation committee, the Veterinary Department has given this information in the investigation. Of the nine snakes rescued, five were cobras, which are considered extremely poisonous. All these snakes were rescued from the possession of the accused people on November 3. Additionally, eight of the nine rescued snakes were missing teeth.
Divisional Forest Officer Pramod Kumar Srivastava said his department has received the investigation report from the veterinary department and will now submit it in the court for further legal action. Srivastava said that the nine rescued snakes have been released in Surajpur Wetlands after taking permission from the court.
In this case, a case was registered against a total of six people, including Elvish Yadav, under the provisions of the Wildlife (Protection) Act, 1972 and section 120-B of the IPC. According to a senior Noida Police officer, the police has already applied for the remand of the five people arrested in this case.
