Prime Minister Narendra Modi paid tribute to Lord Birsa Munda in Ranchi, the capital of Jharkhand on Wednesday. Let us tell you that today is the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda. The Prime Minister reached Bhagwan Birsa Munda Memorial Park and Freedom Fighters Museum in Ranchi in the morning. During this, CM Hemant Soren, Union Tribal Welfare Minister Arjun Munda and Jharkhand Governor CP Radhakrishnan were also present along with the Prime Minister.

PM Modi is on a two-day visit to Jharkhand. Prime Minister Modi reached Jharkhand on Tuesday and held a road show in Ranchi. After paying tribute to Lord Birsa Munda on Wednesday morning, PM Modi will visit Khunti district, the birthplace of Lord Birsa Munda, where he will unveil public welfare schemes worth Rs 24 thousand crore. Prime Minister Modi will also visit Ulihatu village, the birthplace of Lord Birsa Munda in Khunti district and will also participate in the third Tribal Pride Day program.

The development projects worth Rs 24 thousand crore that Prime Minister Modi will launch are especially focused on the vulnerable tribal class. PM Modi will start 'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra' from Jharkhand itself. Besides, PM Modi will also release the installment of Rs 18 thousand crore of PM Kisan Yojana. He will also lay the foundation stone of development projects worth Rs 7200 crore in the state. Regarding Jharkhand Day, PM Modi said, 'Jharkhand is known for its mineral mining as well as bravery, courage and self-respect. Here my family members have contributed significantly to the progress of the country. I wish the people of Jharkhand on the occasion of Foundation Day and wish them a bright future.
