Gujarat: Centre has so far given Rs 571 crore for development in tribal villages - CM Bhupendra Patel informed

Giving information, Gujarat CM Bhupendra Patel said, the Central Government gave Rs 571 crore for the development of infrastructure in the tribal villages of the state.

Under the Pradhan Mantri Adarsh Gram Yojana, the Central Government has so far given Rs 571 crore for the development of infrastructure in tribal villages. Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel gave this information on Wednesday. The Chief Minister addressed a gathering at Ambaji in Banaskantha district on the occasion of the launch of 'Tribal Pride Day' and 'Vikas Bharat Sankalp Yatra'.

Center allocates Rs 571 crore for development of tribal villages

During his address, Gujarat Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel said, under the leadership of PM Modi, Rs 571 crore has been allocated for the development of infrastructure in 2,803 tribal villages of Gujarat. To strengthen health facilities in tribal areas, the state government has approved the establishment of medical colleges in Dahod, Valsad, Banaskantha and Navsari districts.

He said, Prime Minister Modi has ensured overall development. Also implemented the concept of green development in tribal areas. Started the tradition of celebrating the birth anniversary of Lord Birsa Munda as Tribal Pride Day. Also CM Bhupendra Patel said, there was a time when India was dependent on foreign imports even to meet small needs, but Modi started 'Make in India' and 'Make for the World' initiatives.

CM Patel said, India has become a manufacturing center

Praising the central government, he said, thanks to the efforts of PM Modi, India has now become a manufacturing center for many things. There was a time when all the smartphones sold in India were mostly imported. Now, thanks to the visionary leadership of PM Modi, these phones are manufactured in India. Let us tell you that PM Modi started the Bharat Sankalp Yatra organized on Tribal Pride Day in Khunti, Jharkhand.
