Veteran wrestler Vinesh Phogat has returned her Khel Ratna and Arjuna Award.

Veteran wrestler Vinesh Phogat has returned her Khel Ratna and Arjuna Award. He had announced the return of the awards on 26 November. On Saturday (December 30), Vinesh placed the Khel Ratna and Arjuna awards on the duty path outside the Prime Minister's Office. It was later picked up by the police. Wrestler Bajrang Punia has shared the video of this entire incident.

Bajrang Punia wrote on X, "May this day not come in the life of any player. The women wrestlers of the country are going through the worst phase. Vinesh and her companions wanted to go to the Prime Minister's Office, but were stopped by the police on the way. After that Vinesh put her awards on the path of duty."
