Bihar: 18219 retired Anganwadi workers and assistants will be reinstated, CM Nitish assured - good honorarium

Due to various reasons, Anganwadi workers and assistants have been removed outright many times.

Before the Lok Sabha elections 2024, there is a flood of jobs in Bihar. Anganwadi workers are also going to get the benefit of this flowing Ganga. Chief Minister Nitish Kumar has assured of a good and respectable increase in their honorarium. Along with this, assurance has been given to reinstate 18 thousand 219 workers and assistants who were outright de-selected from time to time due to some reason. Recently also, Anganwadi workers and helpers had agitated several times with their demands. Now when their delegation met the CM, this path came forward.

Know what the Chief Minister said after the meeting

A delegation of Anganwadi workers and assistants from Bihar state had a courtesy meeting with Chief Minister Nitish Kumar at 'Lok Samvad' located at 1 Anne Marg on Saturday. During the courtesy meeting, Anganwadi workers and assistants presented their problems to the Chief Minister. After listening to the problems of Anganwadi workers and assistants, the Chief Minister said - "Many steps have been taken to improve the Anganwadi services in the state. The honorarium of Anganwadi workers and assistants has been increased from time to time. All of you who On the basis of the demand made, there will be a respectable increase in the honorarium of Anganwadi workers and assistants. The Anganwadi workers and assistants who were exempted from selection during the strike period will be brought back."

On this occasion, Finance, Commercial Tax and Parliamentary Affairs Minister Vijay Kumar Chaudhary, Social Welfare Minister Madan Sahni, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Deepak Kumar, Principal Secretary to the Chief Minister Dr. S. Siddharth, Principal Secretary of Finance Department Arvind Kumar Chaudhary, Secretary of Social Welfare Department Prem Singh Meena, Secretary to Chief Minister Anupam Kumar, Director of Integrated Child Development Services Kaushal Kishore were present.
