For eight days, all the 11 hosts will undergo rigorous penance following 45 rules. In this, atonement, Godaan, Dashvidh bath, Atonement Kshaur and Panchgavyaprashan will also be done.

By following these rules, the host couple will be able to perform this unique religious ritual. Along with the consecration of life on January 22, the resolutions and rituals of the hosts will also be completed. 11 couples will attend the Pran Pratistha ceremony as hosts. On Monday, with the change in the zodiac sign of the Sun, all the guests will take the first bath and pledge for the eight-day ritual. 45 rules and regulations have been made available to all the guests by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust.

Ram's name will have to be chanted continuously

The Trust official said that the hosts will be made to take a pledge to strictly follow 45 rules for eight days. Along with regular worship and evening prayers, one will have to chant the name of Ram continuously while keeping the diet and lifestyle sattvik.

Following Vedic tradition

Trust treasurer Swami Govinddev Giri Maharaj had sought advice from Kashi scholar Pt. Ganeshwar Shastri Dravid regarding the rules for the Yajmanas. The ceremony to be held in Abhijeet Muhurta of 84 seconds on January 22 will completely follow Sanatani and Vedic traditions.
