Charges framed against MLA Abbas Ansari in hate speech case, court fixes January 30 as next date

Abbas Ansari appeared in MP/MLA court in two cases through video conferencing.

The appearance of MLA Abbas Ansari, accused in two cases of hate speech and violation of election code of conduct during the last assembly general elections, took place through video conferencing from Kasganj jail. CJM MP/MLA Shweta Chaudhary framed charges against Abbas Ansari etc. in the hate speech case. The date of 30th January has been fixed for evidence and 29th January for appearance in the second case. Both the cases are from the city Kotwali area.

This is the whole matter

According to the prosecution in the first case, an FIR was registered under crime number 97/22 section 506, 171F IPC in the city police station on the complaint of SI Gangaram Bind. In this, Sadar MLA Abbas Ansari and others were made accused.

The allegation was that during the assembly elections on March 3, 22, Abbas Ansari, who was contesting as a Subhashpa candidate from the Sadar assembly seat, said during a public meeting at Paharpur ground in the city area that the administration of Mau district would be stopped after the elections and the accounts would be settled. Threats were given from the stage to do this and then to teach a lesson.

In the investigation, the police have presented the charge sheet in the court under sections 506, 171 F, 186,189,153 A, 120 B of the Indian Penal Code against Sadar MLA Abbas Ansari and his brother Umar Ansari, election agent Mansoor Ansari, resident of the old court of Ghazipur district, Yusupur Muhammadabad.

Umar Ansari's file in the case has been separated. CJM framed charges against Abbas Ansari and other accused and fixed January 30 for evidence. According to the prosecution, in the second case, FIR was registered on the complaint of SI Rajesh Kumar Verma.

It is alleged that during the assembly elections on 27 February 22, SubhaSP candidate Abbas Ansari took out a road show from Rajaram Pura to Bharhu Ka Pura without permission. In which 5-6 vehicles and a crowd of 100-150 people had gathered.

Police registered the FIR of the case and after investigation, sent the charge sheet to the court against Abbas Ansari, Umar Ansari, Ganesh Dutt Mishra, Mansoor Ansari, Mohammad Isha Khan, Shahid Lari, Shakir Lari, Zulfekar and Dharmendra Sonkar. In the case, the High Court has banned any kind of harassing action against the accused. CJM has fixed the date of January 29 in the case.
