In the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024, Virat Kohli's dominance remains unchallenged as he continues to lead the race for the Orange Cap. Kohli, often hailed as King Kohli, has amassed an impressive total of 316 runs, solidifying his position at the top of the batting charts.

However, a young contender, 22-year-old Riyan Parag, is emerging as a formidable challenger to Kohli's reign. Parag's recent standout performance came against the Gujarat Titans, where he scored a brilliant 76 runs off 48 balls. With this innings, the Rajasthan Royals all-rounder has elevated his tally to 261 runs in IPL 2024, securing the second spot in the race for the Orange Cap.

Trailing closely behind Parag is Ryan's teammate and Rajasthan Royals captain, Sanju Samson, who holds the third position with 245 runs to his name.

In the competition for the Orange Cap in IPL 2024, B Sai Sudarshan from the Gujarat Titans occupies the fourth spot, followed by Heinrich Klaasen of Sunrisers Hyderabad in fifth place. Sudarshan has accumulated 191 runs, while Klaasen has scored 186 runs so far in the tournament.

Shubhman Gill, the captain of the Gujarat Titans, sits at sixth place with 183 runs, while Niklas Puran of Lucknow Supergiants follows closely behind in seventh place with 178 runs. Abhishek Sharma, Shivam Dubey, and Tristan Stubbs complete the top ten list with 177, 176, and 174 runs, respectively.
