While he made a comeback in the 2021 web series “The Empire,” he didn't receive significant acclaim. However, Morea is now shifting his focus to the startup world, particularly in the health and wellness sector. The 48-year-old actor is the co-founder of a fitness-related startup called The Fresh Press.

The Fresh Press: Redefining Juice Extraction

The Fresh Press specializes in cold press juice, a method that involves extracting juice from fruits using a hydraulic machine without heat or oxygen. This slow process ensures that the juice retains maximum vitamins, minerals, and enzymes, resulting in a purer form of juice with nearly 100 percent nutrient content.

Origins and Growth

Founded in 2018 and based in Mumbai, The Fresh Press initially had co-founders Mithil Lodha and Rahul Jain. Dino Morea later joined as an investor and co-founder. The company has since expanded to 36 stores nationwide and has established strategic partnerships with prominent cinema chains like PVR, Inox, and Reliance. Moreover, it has secured funding from Gruhas Collective Consumer, a company led by Nikhil Kamat, co-founder of Zerodha brokerage platform.

Future Plans and Market Expansion

With the global cold press juice market projected to reach $1.5 billion by 2030, The Fresh Press sees significant growth opportunities. In India, the market is growing at a rate of 25 percent annually. The company aims to capitalize on this growth by expanding its presence in cities like Hyderabad, Bengaluru, and Chennai, while also increasing coverage in Gujarat, Rajasthan, and Delhi. Additionally, The Fresh Press plans to open 1000 quick-service restaurants to cater to health-conscious consumers seeking nutritious beverage options.
