In Baran district, an 8-foot-long crocodile ventured into Jagannathpura village near Mandania, sparking panic among residents who climbed onto their rooftops for safety. The Forest Department team arrived promptly, rescuing the stranded reptile after a thirty-minute effort.

Virendra Singh, part of the rescue team, recounted the crocodile's plight as it struggled in Monu Meena's enclosure. The creature, unable to escape, thrashed about until the team, aided by villagers, managed to free it using sticks and transport it to safety.

According to Virendra, the crocodile likely emerged from the nearby Borkhandi river, wandering into the populated area before becoming trapped. After a tense rescue operation, the relieved villagers watched as the crocodile was safely relocated, ending the ordeal.
