Haryana’s political landscape is in flux as Congress secures backing from three independent MLAs, while JJP gears up to counter. Former Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala hints at potential government shakeup.

The political landscape in Haryana has been shaken as the Congress secures the backing of three independent MLAs, triggering potential shifts ahead of the Lok Sabha elections. Former Deputy Chief Minister Dushyant Chautala has indicated readiness to offer external support to oust the government, while the JJP gears up to address rebel MLAs. Notices have been served to Jogiram Sihag, Ramnivas Surjakheda, and Devendra Babli.

Expressing his stance, former Deputy CM Dushyant Chautala noted the BJP government's current minority status, emphasizing a need for resignation or a display of majority from CM Nayab Singh Saini. Chautala asserted the withdrawal of support by three MLAs has reduced the state government's strength, urging the Governor to assess the majority situation.

Chautala hinted at potential support for government overturning efforts during the upcoming elections, contingent upon present dynamics. He emphasized adherence to party lines for all JJP-elected MLAs and confirmed issuance of notices to the three MLAs, awaiting their response.

While refraining from disclosing names, Chautala cited evidence of anti-party activities, including video recordings and posters. He hinted at impending actions against the three MLAs before the Lok Sabha election voting, stressing the requisite procedural steps for addressing internal dissent.
