Sharing a 19-second video, the news agency wrote that in Kultai of South 24 Parganas, West Bengal, the mob allegedly threw the EVM and VVPAT machines of booth numbers 40 and 42 into the water. This video has been described as a third-party video.

In the video, EVM and VVPAT machines can be seen submerged in water in a pond on the roadside. However, it has not been officially confirmed yet whether the EVMs and VVPATs belong to these two booths.
