Additionally, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma has been appointed as the co-in-charge. Both leaders are actively involved in the election preparations and are frequently visiting Jharkhand. Notably, Union Minister Shivraj Singh Chauhan is on a tour of Jharkhand today, Friday.

Who is Laxmikant Bajpai?

Laxmikant Bajpai, a seasoned politician and a key figure in the BJP, has once again been entrusted with the responsibility of overseeing the party’s efforts in Jharkhand. Born on July 20, 1951, in Meerut, Bajpai has a long history with the BJP. His political journey began in 1977 when he was appointed the president of the youth wing, BJP Yuva Morcha. From 1980 to 1987, he served as the general secretary of Meerut district, and from 1984 to 1986, he held the position of vice-president of the BJP Yuva Morcha in Uttar Pradesh (UP).
