Om Raut, director of the film Adipurush, filed a complaint against producer Krishan Kumar at
Mumbai's Andheri police station, accusing them of hurting the sentiments of Hindus. The complaint has been given by Prithviraj Maskey, President of the complainant NGO Sangharsh.
According to the complaint, the film depicts Sita wearing a white sari, when she left the palace, wearing a saffron sari. Lord Rama is shown as a warrior in the film, although he was Maryada Purushottam.

If people demand, film will be banned in Chhattisgarh: Baghel
Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel said on Saturday that an attempt has been made to tarnish the image of Lord Ram and Lord Hanuman in the film 'Adipurush'. He said that if people demand, the
Congress government may consider banning the film in the state.
Baghel said the film's dialogues are objectionable and low-level. Talking to reporters at his official residence, the
Chief Minister said, efforts are being made to tarnish the image of all our deities.
Om Raut's old tweet goes viral amid Adipurush controversy
Amidst all the controversies, netizens have found an old tweet of Om Raut, in which people are slamming him for his comment on Hanuman. According to media reports, this tweet of Om Raut going viral on social media is from the year 2015. In this tweet, allegedly made by Raut, it is written, 'Was Lord Hanuman deaf?
