Air Pollution: Air quality in very poor category in Delhi, worse conditions in neighboring Noida, know AQI

The respiratory crisis is continuously increasing in the capital Delhi. The air here has again reached the very poor category. According to the latest data from Safar India, the overall air quality in Delhi is in the 'very poor' category with an AQI of 309. The air quality in Noida is also in 'very poor' category with AQI of 372. At the same time, the air quality in Gurugram is in 'poor' category with AQI of 221.



The air will remain in very poor category till Tuesday

According to the Indian Institute of Tropical Meteorology (IITM), on Saturday the wind blew from north-west and north-east direction. During this period the wind speed was four to eight kilometers per hour. The wind is expected to blow from different directions on Sunday. During this period the wind speed will be between four to eight kilometers per hour. At the same time, there is a possibility of light fog in the morning.

On Monday the wind will blow from the eastern direction. The wind speed is estimated to be eight kilometers per hour. According to Safar India, the amount of PM 2.5 in Delhi was recorded at around 131 on Saturday, which is in the poor category. At the same time, the quantity of PM 10 was recorded at around 288, which is a very poor level.
