Narayanaswamy said that we have complained to the Lokayukta and we also have proof of this.

The ruling BJP in Karnataka has filed a complaint with the Lokayukta against former state chief minister Siddaramaiah and the Congress. In the complaint, the BJP has alleged that financial irregularities took place under the TenderSure project during 2013-14 under Siddaramaiah's government. After complaining to the Lokayukta on Monday, BJP's Scheduled Caste Morcha President and MLC Chalawadi Narayanaswamy said that the Congress is accusing the BJP of 40 per cent commission without any evidence. At the same time, it is doing bad propaganda against the BJP and the state government.

Narayanaswamy said that we have complained to the Lokayukta and we also have proof of this. We are making allegations on the basis of evidence but they (Congress) have not yet been able to present a single proof in favor of their allegation. He said that during the financial year 2013-14, 53.86 per cent more funds were released in the project named TenderSure. BJP also has documents regarding this.

The BJP leader said that there were 65 cases against former CM Siddaramaiah but instead of investigating them, he had removed the Lokayukta in his government. Narayanaswamy said that in at least 10 cases the Anti Corruption Bureau had given clean chit to the government. We want that now the remaining 50 cases should also be investigated. Earlier, Karnataka Health Minister K Sudhakar had alleged that the CAG report stated that there were financial irregularities of Rs 35,000 crore in the Siddaramaiah-Congress government.

Assembly elections are due in Karnataka this year. In such a situation, BJP and Congress are trying to surround each other. Recently, the Chief Minister of the state Basavaraj Bommai had alleged that the former Congress government had removed the Lokayukta to hide its scams.
