New Delhi: After the press conference of
Delhi Deputy
Chief Minister Manish Sisodia regarding the raids of the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI),
BJP leader and
Union Minister Anurag Thakur on Saturday retaliated. Talking to the media, he said that Manish Sisodia is an accused in the excise 'scam', but
Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is its 'mastermind'. He said that the Aam Aadmi Party should not try to hide the excise 'scam' under the guise of other issues. The real face of the party has been exposed.
Manish Sisodia's name changed
Excise policy was fine then why was it withdrawn
The
Union Minister further said in his counterattack that after the CBI raid in the Excise scam, Manish Sisodia's gestures and face were coloured. He was not able to answer the questions of the
journalists of the media. He himself said that do not worry about the liquor scam. This means that he admitted in front of the media in the PC that there was a liquor scam. He accused
Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal that if your excise policy was good, then why did you take it back.
Why the government's mercy on the liquor mafia
Union Minister Anurag Thakur asked Arvind Kejriwal why the manufacturing companies were allowed to sell liquor. On October 25, when the officials of the Excise Department raised questions on the blacklisted companies, then why were they allowed to sell liquor. Why did the liquor mafia forgive Rs 144 crore without the cabinet? He asked why the government has remained so merciful to the liquor mafia.
