Three children of Tabar village died due to drowning in the water of Gaura Graphite Mines located in Gaura village of Ponchi Panchayat of Satbarwa block area of ​​Palamu district of Jharkhand. The age of these children is being told 7 to 9 years. The news of the incident spread like a fire in the nearby villages including Tabar village. On hearing the news, hundreds of villagers from nearby villages reached the spot and took out the bodies of two children, while the dead body of the third child was taken out with the help of Udai Singh, Arun Singh Katha Guddu Singh, the aerator of Murma Malay Dam. After the incident, there is mourning in the entire area.

One drowned while taking a bath, two drowned while saving

Villagers told that at around 3:00 pm on Sunday, Aman, son of Mustaq Ansari, resident of Tabar village, Officer, son of lawyer Ansari, Manu, son of W Ansari and Akmal Arzoo, son of Haroon Rashid, roamed near the closed mines. Meanwhile, a child named Akmal Arzoo jumped into the water in the mine with the thought of taking a bath after opening the cloth. Soon he started drowning, to save him, Aman and the officers also jumped into the water. Due to this, all the three children drowned in the water. Mannu, standing outside, ran to his home in Tabar village and informed the family members about the incident.

Demand to fill closed mine

Villagers told that due to negligence in the closed mine, all the three children lost their lives. Had the mine been filled in time, this incident would not have happened. The villagers have demanded from the district administration that the closed mine should be filled immediately so that such incidents are not repeated. Many people including Ponchi Panchayat head Girwar Prasad Ram, Panchayat Samiti member Ashok Ram, Mohammad Rabbani Mian, Ashish Kumar Sinha, MLA representative Rana Pratap Kushwaha, MP representative Manish Kumar, Ramesh Kumar have expressed grief over this incident.
