Case No. 421/2016 CR No. 1161/16 was registered on 20 December 2016 at Gumla police station against people supporting Pathalgadi for opposing the amendment in CNT-SPT Act . Now this case will be withdrawn.

In a release issued by the Information and Public Relations Department, it has been said that the people against whom FIRs were filed by registering FIR in Gumla Police Station Case No. Chief Minister Hemant Soren has given his approval to the proposed resolution draft of the Department of Home, Jail and Disaster Management related to their withdrawal.
