Unidentified assailants opened fire on Bhim Army Chief Chandrashekhar in Deoband, Uttar Pradesh.

Bhim Army Chief and National President of Azad Samaj Party Chandrashekhar was fired four rounds on his car by miscreants who came in a car in Deoband's Gandhi Colony. One bullet touched Chandrashekhar's stomach and came out. He was injured and the glasses of the car were also broken. Chandrashekhar was first given treatment at the Government Hospital in Deoband. For this he was admitted to the district hospital. A large number of supporters gathered at the hospital. The reason for the attack is yet to be known. Police is looking for the attackers.

On Wednesday evening, Bhim Army chief Chandrashekhar had come to attend the thirteenth anniversary of the mother of advocate Ajay Kumar, a resident of Gandhi Colony, Deoband. He was returning in his Fortuner car at around 5.30 pm. District Panchayat members Kari Naushad and Mehak Singh along with many office bearers were also sitting in the car with him. When he came a little ahead of the Union Tiraha under the flyover, the miscreants in the car fired four rounds at him, in which one bullet touched his stomach on the right side.
 
The attack on Chandrashekhar Bhai is a big conspiracy, such an incident raises a big question on the security system of Uttar Pradesh. Demand the arrest of the attackers soon. The people of the whole country are standing with our leader, don't make the mistake of considering us weak.

As soon as the information was received, police officers including SP Dehat Sagar Jain reached the spot in a hurry and admitted the injured Chandrashekhar to the government hospital, from where he was referred to the district hospital after first aid.
Meanwhile, after getting information about the attack on Chandrashekhar, a large number of Bhim Army workers reached the hospital. Here he strongly condemned the attack on Chandrashekhar and demanded that the attackers be identified and arrested soon. SSP Dr. Vipin Tada said that the investigation of the incident has been started. The CCTV footage installed around the incident is also being scrutinised.

BKU spokesperson Chaudhary Rakesh Tikait tweeted that the attack on Chandrashekhar, the chief of Bhim Army and national president of Azad Samaj Party, is a cowardly act. Uttar Pradesh government should identify the culprits and take the strictest action.
