CPI) and Consumer Food Price Index (CFPI) show that the workers will get dearness allowance at the rate of four percent. After this, the rate of dearness allowance of the workers will be 46 percent. Government sources say that this time there will not be much delay in the announcement of DA/DR. There is a possibility that the central government will make this announcement before August itself.

Union Minister Anurag Thakur announced that it would cost the Center Rs 12,815 crore. At that time, the salary of an employee was Rs 18,000 and his DA was increased by four percent, so according to the 42 percent dearness allowance, his salary increased by about Rs 720 per month. Similarly, workers getting basic salary of Rs 1 lakh got benefit of more than Rs 4000 every month.
46 percent DA, now there will be so much increase in salary
If the basic salary of an employee is Rs 18,000, then according to 46 percent dearness allowance, his salary will increase by about Rs 720 every month. That is, now the total amount of DA will be Rs.8280. Employees whose basic salary is Rs 25 thousand, then they will get the benefit of Rs 1000 per month. According to 46 percent, his DA will be Rs 11500. An employee whose basic salary is Rs 35,000 will get Rs 1,400 more per month. According to 46 percent, his DA will be Rs 20700. Such workers, who get a basic salary of Rs 52,000, will get a benefit of more than Rs 2,080 every month on DA hike. According to 46 percent, the DA amount will be 23920. If there is so much salary then it will be beneficial
If the salary of an employee is Rs 85,500, then according to 46% DA, he will get an increase of Rs 3420. According to 46 percent, that amount will be Rs.39330. After the rate of DA is 46 percent, there will be an increase of more than Rs 4000 every month in the account of employees with a basic salary of Rs 1 lakh. CPI) data has been released recently by the National Statistical Office (NSO), Ministry of Statistics and Program Implementation (MOSPI). Inflation is also reported under the Consumer Food Price Index (CFPI).
According to the index, the figure for
CPI (General) under April 2023 (Final) is 178.8 per cent in rural areas, 177.4 in urban areas and 178.1 per cent in combined. If compared to this, in the rural area of May 2023 (provisional), then that figure has been 179.7 and in the urban area 178.1 percent. Combined this number has been 179.0. Under the CFPI, the April 2023 figure for rural areas stood at 173.7 per cent, urban areas at 180.0 and combined at 175.9 per cent. As per the data for May 2023 (provisional), the CFPI in rural sector stood at 174.9. 181.1 percent in the urban area and 177.1 percent in the combined area.
