Delhi Liquor Scam: Arvind Kejriwal will not appear before ED today, will hold rally in Singrauli, MP

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) will today interrogate Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal in a money laundering case related to excise policy. The ED on Monday summoned the national convenor of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) for questioning on November 2. Kejriwal has been asked to appear at the ED's Delhi office at 11 am today.

Kejriwal will not appear today

Delhi CM Arvind Kejriwal will not appear before the Enforcement Directorate (ED) today. He will hold a road show in Singrauli, Madhya Pradesh today with Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann.

Kejriwal mentioned in ED charge sheet

The ED, which is investigating money laundering in the Delhi Excise Policy 2021-22, has mentioned the name of Arvind Kejriwal several times in its charge sheet. The ED claimed that the excise policy was made by top AAP leaders so that illegal money could be continuously earned and transferred to themselves.

The troubles of Aam Aadmi Party leaders in the Delhi liquor scam are showing no signs of abating. The heat of investigation into the scam has now reached party convenor and Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal. The ED, which is investigating the case, has asked Kejriwal to appear on Thursday.
