In UP, tremors were felt late night in many districts adjoining Nepal including Lucknow, Lakhimpur-Kheeri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Sitapur, Barabanki, Gorakhpur, Siddharthnagar.
Earthquake in UP: An earthquake of 5.2 Richter magnitude occurred at around 1:15 pm on Friday night, 139 km northeast of Lucknow, Uttar Pradesh. The depth of the earthquake was 82 km below the ground. The epicenter of the earthquake is being told in Bahraich near Lucknow in UP.

Meanwhile, tremors were felt late in the night in many districts adjoining Nepal including Lucknow, Lakhimpur-Kheeri, Bahraich, Shravasti, Balrampur, Sitapur, Barabanki, Gorakhpur, Siddharthnagar. Due to these tremors, people came out of their homes in fear in many areas of the capital. Along with asking each other's well being, they also started confirming the earthquake.

According to the National Center for Seismology, an earthquake of 5.2 magnitude occurred at around 1.12 pm, 139 km northeast of Lucknow. The depth of the earthquake was 82 km below the ground. The epicenter of the earthquake is being told in Bahraich near Lucknow in UP. Due to these tremors, tremors were felt in many districts of Uttar Pradesh in China and India, including Nepal. However, no one was injured due to these tremors.
