G20: Third meeting of G-20 DEWG begins in Pune from today, cybercrime and digital economy will be discussed

The DEWG meeting will be inaugurated by Union Minister of State Rajeev Chandrasekhar.

The third meeting of the G20 Digital Economy Working Group (DEWG) will be held in Maharashtra's Pune city from Monday. An officer gave this information. Cyber security, digital economy and digital public infrastructure will be discussed in the meeting. During this, 'The Global DPI Summit' and 'Global DPI Exhibition' will also be inaugurated.

The DEWG meeting will be inaugurated by Union Minister of State Rajeev Chandrasekhar. Official Secretary Alkesh Kumar Sharma said that the inaugural session will also see the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to share India Stack with some interested countries.

Around 300 senior delegates including 150 foreign delegates will participate in the summit. The participation includes (representatives) of 46 countries while the Gulf countries will participate at their ministerial level. Also, 47 Global Digital Leaders will attend the Summit. International organizations participating in the summit include UNDP, UNESCO, WEF, World Bank, ITU, ADB, ICRISAT, OECD, UNCDF, Asia PKI Consortium and BMGF.

In addition, a parallel global DPI exhibition was organized showcasing 14 experience areas on Digital Identity, Faster Payments, DigiLocker, Soil Health Card, e-National Agriculture Market, Integrated Mobile App for New Age Governance and Gamification of Digital India Journey Will go other subjects.

Also, during this meeting, an exhibition was organized on Digital Identity, Fast Payment like UPI, DigiLocker, Soil Health Card, e-National Agriculture Market, mobile apps running with the new age, gamification in India and other experience areas. Will. On the second and third day of the meeting, priority areas such as 'Digital Public Infrastructure', 'Cyber Security' and 'Digital Skilling' by G20 members, guest countries and international organizations will be widely discussed.
