5G Spectrum Allocation: Sunil Bharti Mittal, owner of Bharti Airtel, has praised the agility of the government. Sunil Mittal said that within a few hours of paying the spectrum dues from his Airtel, he got the allocation letter for the spectrum. While praising the 'Ease of Doing Business' of the Modi government, he has said that this government has shown how business should be done. This change can change the country.

Airtel got the spectrum allotment letter within hours of making the advance payment to the DoT. Sunil Bharti Mittal, founder and chairman of Bharti Enterprises has said this. He said that this is the first time that the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) handed over the spectrum allotment letter on the same day as the advance payment.

Mittal said in a statement, Airtel paid Rs 8,312.4 crore towards spectrum dues and within a few hours the allotment letter for the specified frequency band was given. E-band allocation along with spectrum was done as promised. No shortage, no delay. No detours in the corridors of power and no tall claims. Ease of doing business is absolutely effective.

Dot has received around Rs 17,876 crore from telecom service providers - Bharti Airtel, Reliance Jio, Adani Data Networks and Vodafone Idea - for the spectrum acquired in the recently held 5G spectrum auction. While all other telecom operators have opted to pay in 20 annual instalments, Bharti Airtel has paid Rs 8,312.4 crore, equivalent to four annual instalments.

Mittal said, this is the first time in my more than 30 years of experience with Dot. Business should be like this. Active Leadership- At the top and at the top of Telecom. What a change! Change that can change this country. Give strength to the dream of becoming a developed nation.
