In Nitish cabinet, 84 percent ministers are millionaire, Congress ministers living in poverty

While 11 ministers from JDU's quota have taken oath of office and secrecy. Murari Gautam and Afaq Alam took oath from Congress quota. Also, a leader from Jitan Ram Manjhi's party has been given a ministerial post. But the biggest thing is that it will not be wrong if the present council of ministers is called the cabinet of crorepatis. According to a survey by the Association for Democratic Reforms, 84 percent of the ministers in this cabinet are crorepatis.

94 percent of RJD ministers are millionaire

According to the survey report, 17 ministers from RJD quota are in the present assembly. Out of this, the wealth of 16 ministers is in crores of rupees. While a minister is Lakhpati. At the same time, 9 out of 11 ministers included in the council from JDU quota are crorepatis. That is, 82 percent of JDU ministers are crorepatis. Santosh Kumar Suman, who became the only minister from the quota of Hindustani Awam Morcha, is also a millionaire. At the same time, the assets of independent Sumit Kumar Singh are also worth crores. The wealth of 27 ministers out of 32 in Nitish Kumar's government is in crores. The bigger thing is that the assets of both the Congress ministers included in the cabinet are much less than crores.

Ministers have average assets of 5.82 crores

According to the survey report, 32 ministers of Bihar cabinet have an average assets of Rs 5.82 crore. At the same time, the average assets of 17 ministers of RJD is more than that of JDU ministers. RJD ministers have an average assets of Rs 7.59 crore. Whereas JDU ministers have an average assets of Rs 4.55 crore. The richest minister in this cabinet is Madhubani MLA Sameer Kumar Mahaseth. His assets are worth Rs 24.45 crore. While the minister with the least assets included in the cabinet is Congress MLA from Chenari, Murari Prasad Gautam.
