Mercedes Benz Vision EQXX Range: The Vision EQXX electric sedan (prototype) of German luxury car maker Mercedes-Benz has once again set a record on a single battery charge. The car broke its own record in terms of driving range in the real world by crossing the 1,000 km travel mark. After its first record-breaking drive from Stuttgart to Cassis (France) in April, the prototype car covered 1202 km from Stuttgart to Silverstone in the UK on a single charge. It is a pure electric prototype car, so it does not require petrol.

The company claims that the Vision EQXX achieved an average consumption of 8.3 kWh/100km during the entire road trip under heavy traffic and summer temperatures, thanks to its innovative thermal management system. Marcus Schaefer, Member of the Board of Management, Mercedes-Benz Group, said, “The journey continues to be more efficient than ever. Once again, the Vision eQ2 has proved that it can easily cover a distance of over 1,000 km on a single battery charge. This time it faced real-world situations."

He added, "As Mercedes-Benz strives to go fully electric by 2030, wherever market conditions allow, it is important to show the world that real life is real through a combination of cutting-edge technology, teamwork and determination." What can be achieved in the form. According to the company, the main challenges of this trip were summer temperatures of up to 30 °C and increased traffic around Stuttgart and in the south-east of England.

The journey was completed in a driving time of 14 hours 30 minutes. During which the air conditioning was only on for more than eight hours, yet there was minimal negative impact on overall energy consumption. At present, this car has not come in the market. Work is in progress on this.
