JEE Main 2023 Session 1 Application Last Date: The application process of JEE-Main, the country's biggest engineering entrance examination, is going on. JEE Main Phase I exam is proposed from January 24 to January 31, 2023. So far more than six lakh 70 thousand students have applied. The last date of application is January 12, 2023.

Last six days are left in JEE Main January application, if looking at the last few days, on an average 15 to 20 thousand students are making new applications every day. In such a situation, there is a possibility of registration of about eight lakh students for JEE Main January exam. Last year also eight lakh 72 thousand students appeared for the first session.

Applications for April session exam will start in February

At the same time, for the second phase i.e. April session, students will have to apply again in the month of February. After applying once this year, no change will be possible in it, so students should apply keeping in mind the rules. On the other hand, there is still confusion among the students regarding the board eligibility. NTA has left the matter regarding change or relief to the JEE Apex Board saying that it is the organizer of the exam. Due to this, there are a large number of students whose marks in 12th board are less than 75 percent and are still waiting for clarification regarding board eligibility to apply.

Eligibility has been challenged in the Bombay High Court

In addition, some students have challenged the 75 percent admission board eligibility in IITs, NITs in the Bombay High Court. The matter is to be heard here on January 10. In such a situation, many students are delaying in applying. Students are advised that 75 percent board eligibility is for admission in IIT, NIT. Board eligibility is not a compulsion for appearing in JEE Main exam. Therefore, students must apply for the exam, because there are many top engineering institutes on the basis of JEE Main and Advanced, where there is no 75 percent board eligibility and admission is given only on the basis of JEE Main and Advanced rank.
