Taking major action in the matter of dragging the girl Anjali for 13 kilometers by car following the instructions of the Ministry of Home Affairs, 11 policemen deployed on three PCR vans and two pickets have been suspended on the night of the incident.
The 11 policemen from Rohini district who have been suspended include two sub-inspectors, four assistant sub-inspectors, four head constables and one constable. Of these, six were on PCR duty and five were on picket on the day of the incident. These policemen are accused of negligence in duty. Please tell that the policemen posted on the route on which this incident took place have been suspended.

On Thursday, the Ministry of Home Affairs had ordered suspension of all the policemen posted on three PCR vans and two pickets with immediate effect on the night of the incident. The Ministry of Home Affairs gave instructions for action after the report of Special Commissioner of Police,
Delhi Police, Shalini Singh. The report also found deficiencies in the supervision of senior police officers.
