A 47-year-old man committed suicide by shooting himself in Bengaluru, capital of Karnataka. In the suicide note left behind, the deceased has blamed six people, including Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) MLA Arvind Limbavali, for his death.

What is the matter?

The man, identified as S Pradeep, had invested Rs 1.2 crore in a Bengaluru club in 2018 with two people taking his name in the note. He had promised to return three lakh rupees every month including salary for working for the club. However, after taking the money, the two men, Gopi and Somaiya, refused to return the money to Pradeep for several months. The note also states that Pradeep had to take multiple loans to repay the interest and also had to sell his house and agricultural land to make the payments.

Mental Harassment

Even after pleading a lot, all the people did not return the money to Pradeep. So, Pradeep took the issue to BJP MLA Arvind Limbavali. It further states that the MLA spoke to both the men to return Pradeep's money, but they said they would only return Rs 90 lakh.

 The suicide note also accused a doctor, Jairam Reddy, of filing a civil case against Pradeep's brother's property and mentally torturing and harassing Pradeep. The six people named at the end of the note are, Who are responsible for him to take such a big step. It also named BJP MLA Arvind Limbavali and accused him of supporting people who did not return Pradeep's money.

Suicide note found in deceased's car

Pradeep was found dead of a bullet injury to his head in Netigere village of Bengaluru on Sunday. According to the police, the suicide note was found in his car and it has the names of six people including the BJP MLA. Police officials have registered a case and further action is being taken.
