NEET UG 2023 Result Tie-Breaking Policy: National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result of the graduate medical entrance exam NEET UG 2023. According to information, Prabanjan J from Tamil Nadu and Bora Varun Chakraborty from Andhra Pradesh have topped the NEET exam with 99.99 percentile. It was told by NTA that most of the successful candidates are from Uttar Pradesh. After that there is the number of Maharashtra and Rajasthan.
National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the result of National Eligibility cum Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG 2023) on Tuesday, 13 June. Apart from changing the exam pattern, NTA has also changed the tie-breaking rule this year.
Unlike previous years when age and application number were in the list of criteria in the NEET tie-breaking policy, this year the agency has removed them. It is also to be noted that from now on in NEET UG 2023 entrance exam result, if two or more students obtain the same NEET score or percentile score, then NTA follows tie-breaking method to determine merit.

Order of Merit of NEET UG 2023 Result Tie-Breaking
Candidates obtaining higher marks/percentage marks in Biology (Botany and Zoology) in the examination
Candidates obtaining higher marks/ percentage marks in Chemistry in the examination
Candidates obtaining higher marks/percentage marks in Physics in the examination
Candidates having lower ratio of number of wrong answers and correct answers attempted in each subject of the examination
NTA will also measure the applicant in Biology (Botany and Zoology) in the exam with many wrong answers and low ratio of attempts to correct answers.
Candidates with low ratio of wrong answers and correct answers to multiple attempts in Chemistry in the examination
Candidates having lower ratio of number of wrong answers and correct answers attempted in Physics in the examination
