The Railway Minister is on the target of the opposition for this accident. The Congress on Sunday demanded the resignation of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav over the Odisha train accident.

After the train accident in Balasore, Odisha, the movement of trains resumed on the accident track. Giving this information to the media, Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav looked emotional. He said, 'Till now 3 vehicles have gone and about 7 vehicles have been planned to go in the night.' Weeping, he said, 'Our aim is to ensure that the family members of the missing people can meet their families as soon as possible. May they be found as soon as possible. Our responsibility is not over yet.

Let us tell you that the Railway Minister is on the target of the opposition. The Congress on Sunday demanded the resignation of Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav over the Odisha train accident, alleging that her “publicity gimmick” overshadowed the “serious shortcomings, criminal negligence and complete disregard for safety” of the Indian Railways.

The opposition party also said that Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government should take responsibility for the 'disorder' it has created between the Indian Railways and the people.

Congress leader and MP Shaktisinh Gohil and All India Congress Committee's (AICC) publicity and media department chief Pawan Khera alleged at a press conference that the Odisha train accident was “a man-made tragedy” characterized by “gross negligence, serious system lapses”. It is the result of shortcomings, incompetence and arrogant self-indulgence of “know-it-all” government (led by Modi).
