How many nuclear weapons does Pakistan have?

In September this year, America's top nuclear scientists had claimed that Pakistan currently has a stockpile of about 170 nuclear weapons, which will increase to 200 by 2025 at the current growth rate. In an article titled Nuclear Notebook published in the Bulletin of the Atomic Scientists, scientists had said that we estimate that Pakistan now has about 170 nuclear weapons. The US Defense Intelligence Agency had estimated in 1999 that Pakistan would have 60–80 nuclear weapons by 2020, but since then this figure has increased due to the development of many new weapons systems.

The Nuclear Notebook column, published in the Atomic Scientist Bulletin since 1987. According to the article, this estimate is uncertain because Pakistan does not publish much information about its nuclear weapons. Media reports, think tank analyzes and industry publications are included in the estimates. Satellite photos have also been analyzed. According to the report, Pakistan is currently producing material to make 14-27 new weapons every year, but at present Pakistan is making an average of 5-10 nuclear weapons every year.

Pakistan's 36 Mirage 3/4 and JF17 aircraft are capable of carrying nuclear weapons. As well as land-based ballistic missiles including Abdali, Ghaznavi, Shaheen, Nastra and medium-range Ghauri and Shaheen-2 missiles capable of carrying nuclear weapons.
