RJD's 50 percent ministers belong to political houses, socialism overshadowed dynasty in new cabinet

Among them, there are 12 such, who have got a chance to become a minister for the first time. There are also five MLCs in the new cabinet, including the Chief Minister, while six people who became members of the Legislature for the first time have also become ministers. Seven out of 17 RJD ministers in the cabinet belong to established political houses or families in state politics.

Five other RJD ministers also from old political families

Deputy Chief Minister Tejashwi Yadav and Tej Pratap Yadav are sons of RJD President Lalu Prasad and former CM Rabri Devi. Apart from this, five other RJD ministers are also from old political families. Bijendra Prasad Yadav is the oldest minister in the cabinet. According to the affidavit given to the Election Commission, the present age of Mr. Yadav is 76 years. At the same time, the youngest minister is Tej Pratap Yadav, whose age is 32 years.

The sons of former ministers also became ministers

Santosh Suman, son of former CM Jitan Ram Manjhi, has also been made a minister. Apart from them, Ashok Chaudhary of JDU, Sunil Kumar, Independent Sumit Kumar Singh and Sudhakar Singh of RJD are such ministers whose father has also been minister. Ashok Chaudhary's father Mahavir Chaudhary, Prohibition Minister Sunil Kumar's father Chandrika Ram, Science and Technology Minister Sumit Kumar Singh's father Narendra Singh were ministers.
