According to ANI, Ranveer Singh has sought some more time to appear for questioning.

Bollywood actor Ranveer Singh was on the target of people on social media recently due to his nude photoshoot. He was heavily criticized and complaints were also filed against him at many places. In this case, the actor was asked to appear at the Chembur police station on Monday. However, the actor has asked for two weeks' time.

Ranveer Singh asked for two days' extension

According to ANI, Ranveer Singh has sought some more time to appear for questioning. The news agency tweeted on Sunday, "Nude photoshoot controversy | Chembur police station summoned actor Ranveer Singh to appear tomorrow (Monday). Actor has sought 2 weeks time to appear, now by Chembur police Fresh summons will be sent after fixing the new date: Mumbai Police."

A complaint was lodged against his recent shooting following a complaint from the Maharashtra State Commission for Women. Earlier, Ranveer was called by the Mumbai Police on August 22 for questioning in his nude photoshoot case. Apart from the Women's Commission, a non-governmental organization (NGO) office-bearer in a suburb of Mumbai and a woman lawyer had lodged complaints with the Chembur police station.

These allegations against Ranveer Singh

An officer of Chembur police station said that on the basis of the complaint, the police have booked sections 292 (sale of obscene books etc.), 293 (sale of obscene material to youth), 509 (words intended to outrage the dignity of a woman) of the Indian Penal Code. say, indicate or act) and an FIR has been registered under the provisions of the Information Technology Act. An official of the NGO had alleged that the actor had hurt the sentiments of women and their dignity with his photographs.
