The Rajasthan High Court has dismissed a petition against Robert Vadra and his mother Maureen Vadra in a land purchase case.

Trouble is about to increase for Sonia Gandhi's son-in-law and Priyanka Gandhi's husband Robert Vadra and her mother Maureen Vadra. The Rajasthan High Court has dismissed his petition. However, his arrest has been relieved by allowing an appeal for two weeks. The case is related to the alleged fraud in the purchase and sale of land in Bikaner.

Justice Pushpendra Singh's bench of Rajasthan High Court has clearly said that Robert and his mother will have to cooperate in the ED's investigation in this matter. Two weeks time has been given to appeal. Till then the ban on arrest will remain in force. The case is related to the fraud in the purchase and sale of government land in Bikaner. In this case, the arrest of Robert and his mother Maureen had been stayed earlier.

The ED had initiated proceedings against Robert Vadra and his mother Maureen Vadra's company Skylight Hospitality in connection with the purchase and sale of land in Bikaner's Kolayat. In 2018, Vadra filed a petition in the High Court seeking a stay on the ED proceedings. In this case, after more than 80 hearings, the Single Bench has refused to stay the ED's action. After this, the ED can issue a notice for questioning to Robert Vadra at any time.

what is the matter
This case is related to the purchase and sale of government land in Kolayat, Bikaner in 2018. The police had registered an FIR in Kolayat in the case of forgery of government land. After this, the CBI took over the investigation of the matter. In view of the forgery of government land, the Enforcement Directorate (ED) had registered an ECR. ED has collected evidence against the partners of Skylight Hospitality LLP company. The ED had also petitioned for the arrest of Robert and his mother Maureen, which has been stayed by the court. Registry was done in the year 2010 by purchasing 120 bighas of land Khasra No. 711/499, 710/499 located in Kolayat area of Bikaner as an authorized representative. For this, a check was given by Robert Vadra and mother Maureen Vadra. Through this cheque, the middleman Mahesh Nagar had carried out the entire scam by purchasing land in the name of his driver. An FIR was registered in the matter in 2014.
