The incident comes a day after the Punjab government withdrew the security cover of Sidhu Musewala. On Sidhu Musewala murder case, Punjab DGP VK Bhavra said that the investigation is going on and on the orders of Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann, I have been asked to make IG Range SIT.
Punjab DGP told a matter of mutual enmity
Punjab DGP VK Bhavra said that three different weapons seem to have been used from the cartridges recovered from the spot. He said that apart from IG Range, SSP Mansa and Bathinda have also reached the spot. DGP VK Bhavra said that when Sidhu Musewala left his house, two vehicles came from front and back on the way and fired at his vehicle and when he was taken to the hospital, he was declared dead. It seems to be a case of mutual enmity. He said that additional forces are also being sent. We try to solve this matter as soon as possible.

At the same time, Manasa SSP Gaurav Tora told that two cars stopped Sidhu Musewala's car, after which there was heavy firing, in which Sidhu Musewala got multiple bullets. He told that the people present with Sidhu were also shot and they have been referred to Patiala for treatment. Gaurav Tora told that preliminary investigation has revealed that it is a case of mutual enmity. Sidhu Moose Wala was not carrying his bulletproof car and gunman along with him today. FIR is being registered. He said that we will take immediate action against the gangster and the persons involved.
