The knife used in Sakshi murder case has been recovered by the police. With this knife, Sahil had stabbed Sakshi's body not once or twice but 21 times. The police have recovered this knife from Rithala. On the other hand, the court has extended the police custody of accused Sahil for two days. Sahil is constantly changing his statements. The killer bought the knife from this place
Police officials say that the knife used in the murder was bought from outside Delhi to investigate the murder case. The accused disclosed that he had brought the knife from Haridwar for the murder. It is being ascertained whether Sahil bought the knife only to kill Sakshi.
Police custody of accused extended for two days
The court has extended the police custody of Sahil, accused of brutally killing Sakshi in Shahbad Dairy area, by two days. After the expiry of the custody period on Thursday, the accused was produced in the Rohini court. The police told the court that further interrogation of Sahil is necessary. His remand is needed to recover the knife and mobile used in the crime. The court accepted the application after considering the arguments of the police. The knife was not recovered till it was produced in the court.
More blood leaked from the body due to knife attack
On the other hand, Sahil attacked Sakshi with knife so many times that many parts of her body had failed. The leakage of blood from the stab wounds was also very much. The doctors who conducted the post-mortem told the police that most of Sakshi's organs had failed. Sakshi died due to organ failure and excessive bleeding.

A senior police officer said that like a vicious criminal, Sahil is repeatedly changing his statements. During the investigation, the police came to know that Sahil used to talk to Sakshi on Instagram. Since Sakshi did not have her smart phone at the moment, she was talking to Sahil on her friend Neetu's mobile from her Insta account.
