Now the study burden on the students associated with the Secondary Education Board will be reduced. From the new session, studies and examinations will be conducted in a total of eight semesters from class 9th to 12th. Not only this, Science, Arts and Commerce classes will be abolished and a single class course will be run, which will include all the board subjects. According to the new education policy, like higher education, now a plan is being made to change the curriculum of the Secondary Education Department.
The study burden on students increases during board exams. Together they have to study for a year. To provide convenience to the students in their studies, the Secondary Education Department will now conduct the board examinations section by section, so that the students can prepare better for the examination. According to the education department, 50 marks questions in the semester will be experimental. Out of these, questions of 20 marks will have to be answered on OMR sheet. There will be a written examination of 50 marks. Choices will be given in the questions in the written examination also. The candidate will have to answer any one of the related options.
Students will be able to study history subjects along with science
Parents will not be able to put pressure on their children to study in science stream, nor will there be questions on the ability of the child studying in arts stream. For this, the department will eliminate all these classes and issue courses for the general category. According to the department, if a student studying Chemistry, Physics, Biology and Mathematics courses wishes to study history, he will be able to do so. Similarly, students studying Geography, History, Sociology, Economics and Home Science courses will be able to study Mathematics or Science as per their wish.
Implementation of semester system will develop holistic education among students
Implementation of semester system in the courses of Secondary Education Department will develop holistic education among the students. With less study load, you will get a chance to study the subject of your interest. Along with the curriculum, students will also be able to study in courses related to skill development, through this they will get the opportunity to get education related to technology and society.
Students will get freedom from evaluation and subject bondage in less time
With the implementation of the semester system, students will be evaluated in less time. They will get a chance to improve in the subject in which they are weak. If a student studying science is interested in literature, then he will be able to study it as a course.
Students will get holistic personality assessment certificate
NCF-2023 will be fully implemented in the Secondary Education Department. Many types of plans have been made for this in the new year. Like higher education, semester system will be implemented in secondary education department also. Like the marksheet, students will be given a holistic personality assessment certificate.
