Suspected drones flying near Ambala Air Force Station

An Indian Air Force official said the drone was seen flying just after the Independence Day celebrations.

Two drones were seen flying around the Indian Air Force Station in Ambala, following which Air Force officials have lodged a police complaint. According to the information, the suspected drone was sighted on August 13 and August 15, on which the patrolling team also fired several rounds towards the drone.

An Indian Air Force official said the drone was seen flying just after the Independence Day celebrations. Earlier, the drone was sighted on August 13. This is the second such incident within two days. The complaint of the suspected drone has been lodged by the Air Force at Ambala Cantonment Police Station. It should be noted that flying drones around Ambala air station is prohibited.

Police investigation continues

Additional Superintendent of Police Pooja Dubla said in this regard that we have received a complaint about a red colored drone from Ambala Air Force Station on August 15. The drone was also seen flying on 13 August. He said, an FIR has been registered under section 188 at Ambala Cantt police station. Further investigation is going on. Strict action will be taken.

Drone also seen on the border of Rajasthan

Let us tell you that unauthorized drone activity has been seen from different parts of the country around the Indian border. Earlier, Border Security Force (BSF) personnel had witnessed the movement of a drone along the International Border of Rajasthan on the late night of 26 and 27 July, which was also fired several rounds by the patrolling team.

Joint investigation of BSF and Police continues

A senior BSF official said, "The information related to the drone has been given to the local police. A joint search operation is also underway. On July 19, the BSF had detained a Pakistani national, who had traveled to Sri Ganganagar district of Rajasthan. had crossed the international border for allegedly killing suspended BJP spokesperson Nupur Sharma.
