When asked if he felt pressured to live up to the high expectations set by the second film, Rai acknowledged the challenge but remained focused on the creative process. “The pressure to meet the benchmark set by the second part is real,” he said. “If I were only in this for the money, I could start shooting within the next three months. But if I want to tell a story that gives my audience more satisfaction than before, I have to work hard,” Rai explained.

The director also touched on the complexities of continuing a successful franchise without playing it safe. He shared insights from his recent success with ‘Haseen Dillruba,’ noting that such projects require intense dedication. “There was two and a half years of hard work behind ‘Haseen Dillruba.’ When you have a hit film, it certainly becomes a significant challenge, but that’s the exciting part of our business. You have to approach your responsibility thoughtfully and not let the pressure take over,” Rai added.
